Job Description
  • Proficiently managing day-to-day database administration (DBA) activities using Oracle utilities and tools.
  • Monitoring and optimizing space and memory requirements, while overseeing alert logs and trace files.
  • Expertly installing and configuring Oracle database software and associated products.
  • Skillfully creating and managing table spaces, user accounts, roles, privileges, and profiles.
  • Administering data file operations such as addition, resizing, and renaming, along with effective redo log file management.
  • Expanding database capabilities through new group additions and member assignments.
  • Conducting routine Database Backups, Recovery, and Performance Tuning to uphold data integrity and accessibility.
  • Executing database patch upgrades and application patch upgrades processes.
  • Identifying and resolving performance concerns using AWR and ADDM reports, as well as proficiently generating and analyzing statistics.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with development teams to optimize SQL queries,
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database administration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, concepts, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of Oracle database administration tools and utilities.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Standby Databases (DATAGUARD), and Oracle Golden Gate is a valuable asset.
  • Knowledgeable about database backup and recovery methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable shell scripting languages adds to your qualifications.
  • SQL knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Background or expertise in the Fintech and Banking sectors is a valuable advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle database administration are a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and effective problem-solving.
  • Good command in English for both verbal and written.
