Supervisor – Infra Team, IT Department

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs) and templates.
• Implement and manage virtual networks and storage.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for virtualized environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux based servers (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
• Perform system updates, patch management, and security hardening.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and security.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies for virtual machines and Linux systems.
• Perform data backups, schedule backups, and verify data integrity.
• Implement disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, system failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical support to end users and other IT teams.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor resource usage and plan for capacity upgrades as needed.
• Recommend hardware and software upgrades to optimize performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a VMware Administrator and Linux Administrator.
• The specific number of years of experience may vary depending on the organization, but 35 years or more of relevant experience is common.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar VMware certifications.
• Linux certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCE) can be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and effectively communicate technical information.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
